We're hosting another open mic, so break out the champagne, the villanelles, & the interpretive dance. 

Invite your friends, your mailman, your weird neighbor with that fake cactus, your grandma, and the one dude at the bus stop with the weird eye patch who claims he's a pirate, like, a real pirate.

Please bring one poem, song, or monologue. 5 mins. List is available at 6:51pm. Come early, we fill up quick. Open mic begins promptly at 7:01pm or 7:02pm or even 7:04pm. Probably 7:04pm.

Our feature this month is Augusta-based literary sensation Vanessa Harris aka The Most Elevated Deepness.

Vanessa Harris, poetically known as Most Elevated Deepness, is a Singer/ Songwriter/Spoken Word poet from Augusta, Ga. She is known throughout Augusta and surrounding areas for her poetry and song infused style of Spoken Word. She is also one third of the poetry group "The Forces" and Volunteers with "Poetry Matters Project" a non profit organization out of Augusta. Through Poetry Matters she is able to aid the organization in their endeavor to encourage young people to fall in love with words! On top of all of that she manages time to Co-host a monthly open Mic in in the city of Augusta. Most Elevated Deepness's poetry can be described as soulful and spiritual, and is sure to take the listener on a journey.
