Divas of hospitality presents "Black Girl Magic."
Divas of Hospitality consists of a group of ladies who have given their lives to the hospitality industry. They are chefs, bartenders, event planners, hostesses, MC’s, and DJs just to name a few. This unique group of ladies bring professionalism, classiness, ambiance, great food and libations, and phenomenal energy to any event. They are divas in their own right! We’ve decided to bring something a little different to Charleston this summer. Something that has never been done before here in the Lowcountry. Divas of Hospitality would like to present, “ Black Girl Magic”! This will be the first installment of many. The event will be held at Redux Contemporary Art Center. Black girl magic will be a day party that will showcase African-American female chefs. Female chefs are the most underrated chefs in the industry, and most times we are the true heart of the kitchen. A lot of times people don’t even know we really exist, because we’re usually in the background making things happened behind the scenes. So we’ve decided to spot light some of our local African-American female chefs here in Charleston, SC as well as Charlotte, North Carolina. We will also be featuring the Cocktail Bandits, our guest host VP on the Z and Kween Katt on the ones and twos. So come out and enjoy some great food, libations, music and more! Proceeds will benefit the nonprofit For The Exceptional.
