Bastille Day at the Beach 2018

A day of activities at the place where Freedom first came to Charleston County and where we need a return of transit to enable people to get to the ocean. We'll build some transit oriented sandcastles so you can envision the transit system, stations and transit enabled communities of your dreams. We'll partner with local businesses for food and drink specials. At Sunset on the Sand, bring your flashlights and cowbells for a reading of the Declaration of Rights of Man which took the began the French Revolution and set the foundation for the enduring and continuing crusade for human dignity and freedom now enshrined in the Universal Declaration of Human Rights. Arrangements subject to permitting with the City of Folly Beach.
